The LSCR contains spectacular and rugged landscapes plus picturesque Rice Lake. Its alpine peaks, forested slopes, and pristine waters offer spectacular scenery and outdoor recreation opportunities. It features over 100 kilometres of trails with opportunities for cycling, horseback riding, and hiking at all skill levels and features the Seymour Valley Trailway; a 10km paved path that winds through forests and across streams to the Seymour Reservoir and Seymour River Hatchery. The Trailway features picnic sites and scenic rest stops along the way.

Lillooet Park

Located just off Lillooet Road, this municipal park offers a leisure space for local residents. It also includes a soccer field and grassy areas for playing and trails.

North Shore Equestrian Centre

This riding centre with more than 20 horses offers English-style horseback riding lessons, horse boarding as well as a therapeutic riding program. Children as young as four can start learning to ride on a pony

Capilano University

This well established post-secondary institution offers programs in arts, business, music, communication, performing arts, as well as several vocational programs. About 15,000 students access the credit and non-credit courses every year
